I have an Eagle trailer under my Predictor and if they are 14 inch rims they have a bolt pattern equal to a ford ranger, mazda pickup.I believe it is a 5 bolt x4 1/2 pattern, the rims are 6" wide also.Mine is a standard boat trailer 5 bolt pattern.I called the eagle people to get the weight of the trailer so I could register it in Florida, they were very helpful and faxed me the info on their letterhead stationary that the title people here in Florida would accept.I hane hsd the rims off my ranger and explorer on the trailer, they fit pattern wise but were to wide to fit the fender with the carpeted cover on the backside of the fender but the pattern was correct.Hope that helps. If you are looking for other rims, chrome or mags just check closely the center hole to make sure it will fit over the hub.

most of these size trailers use Ford car bolt pattern which should be 4 1/2" pattern. I'v seen them measured a couple diffrent ways which will confuse things.
If you look at the bolts and count around from 1 to 5, measure between 1 & 3. The confusing part is some measure center of stud to center of stud, the proper way (I think ?) is center of one stud to the outside of the other stud. (you basicaly add about 1/4")
Yoy should be able to get whatever wheels you want for your trailer, I bought my chrome's from Redneck Trailer supplies thru my work. but in the past I'v used a lot of diffrent wheels on my trailers.

I guess we have to assume the hubs haven't been swapped out with something strange. If you have a ford or know some onethat does borrow their spare and see if it fits.I believe my hubs are the original so that should be the correct pattern size. You won't be able to use a lot of the new fancy rims as they have to much offset to fit a trailer, they end up rubbing somewhere.

I'm running a 4 blade 24p Spinneli Bros custom prop, I found it a couple years ago and it works very nice, awesome hole shot and mid range and will still pull low 70's. I have a couple of old choppers that are a little faster, but they perform like crap for everything else.
I want to find a 25 or 26p to try, i,m a little high on the RPm's and think I can turn more.
I dont know about your late model Evenrude, but the older ones would accept a merc prop if you added an extra spacer between the engine and prop. The prop will be spaced back about an inch so the prop will act a little strange due to being fully ventilated but it works. As Im sure you have found, OMC performance props are hard to find.

Yeah its hard to find performance props for the Rude, I tried to get a spinneli prop but they are out of business. Any body you know wants to get rid of a 3 blade 25-26-27 pitch prop spinneli. I will gladly buy it from them. Thanks again bro.

Eagle Trailers Inc. is no longer in business. On June 1st, HLT Limited (manufacturer's of Yacht Club trailers) purchased the manufacturing rights, product designs, inventory, etc. The offices in Wayondotte were closed and moved to the manufacturing facility in Homer. They have a spare parts department on site. Their number can be found at their website EagleTrailer.com There are also parts manuals and links to vendors on their website.

Merc, I was (and still am) the engineer at the Homer facility when we went through the buyout. I still talk to the former owner ocassionally, but haven't crashed any parties lately http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Brain...

Your OMC can use ANY merc prop buy having it re-hubbed or you can just have the splines cut down to OMC length (they are the same shaft size and number of splines)...just shorter length wise on the OMC motors). It is easy to have done and only about $50. http://checkmate-boats.com/6/ws/,s,8626072361/Graemlins/thumb.gif

Also...the OMC SRX prop is an animal... they are around... hit S&F web sight! Jim.
