Except for an occasional day or two, we have open water pretty much all winter on the Mississippi in the pool by the Quad Cities. The back waters freeze up, but the main river pretty much stays open.

So what we would like to do, is get some suggestions on what would be a good pic for April. So if you want to post a pic that you think would be a choice for next month, we'll put what we feel are the top choices to a vote.

Preferably, the picture should be a minimum of 600 Pixels wide. I can always shrink them down, but increasing the size usually degrades the picture quality.

I would have to say if it is a members boat, Gus' boat should go up first. Gus has alot of blood sweat and tears into it and deserves the recognition, I have not put anything into mine other than a check. At least until I get it in my posession.

Tires seem to be OK still, and the chrome rims are sprayed down with Mercury storage seal to keep them nice. Probably got some storage seal on the tires too.....

Going with the tried and true C-Hawk with some custom aluminum wheels and plenty of polished diamond plate. I am still trying to come up with the design for the custom paint job on it. It is coming from C-Hawk in dark purple and I told them not to put any od the decal SH** on it. I know I will be adding black to the trailer, then clear, but what desigh, I do not know yet. Actually I have a good idea, but I want to kep some things quiet until done.

thought i would put everyone in the boating spirit today. The forcast for my neck of the woods for the next 2 weeks is 60 to 65 degrees, my boating season started yesturday. Don't rub it in my face. My river is still frozen solid and will be for a few more weeks. Yesterday, the temperature was down to -43 with the wind chill. Ouch! Plus the fact I don't have any boat, except a aluminum one with a 4 Horse 'Rude! Wish I was there right now in Jim's Pulsare!!!
