I know we have one on the board, but I do not remember who he is, can someone give me his name? I am trying to find some bushings for my swivel seats and am not having much luck. If anyone else can help me out I would appreciate it as well. These are black plastic bushings or cups, that look almost like a cup holder except a little smaller that fit inside the hole on the bracket on the bottom of the captains and passenger chairs that then sit on a 2" diameter or so pole extending up from the floor. I have found one store that carries a similar part, but it is nylon, and is slightly larger in diameter, slightly longer, and not as thick. By the way, these are for a 1987 Checkmate Ambassador. Also I have been asked what brand my seat brackets are, and from what I can find they only say "SM" on them. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Thanks

SM is probably Springfield Manufacturing. They make most of the seat bases out there. It's been a year, but if i remember right, there are 2 sizes 2 3/8 and 2 7/8. Land and Sea usually has a good selection of those parts. Thats where i used to order them. Your local marina can probably hook you up.

The guy at Checkmate is Mike.
