Hey Guys,

I have been pricing a paint job for my 15 ft V-mate 1 around London/Kitchener/Waterloo area and it is about $3000 Canadian... is this a high price or not?

also was told to look in the Burlington Area for this kind of work on a fibreglass boat.Does anyone have any suggestions

I have been unable to get a response from Kip as to a price on restoration at the actual factory" does anyone know how much to expect for a total restoration from the factory for my boat?

Thats about right for a good paint job. Painting anything you get what you pay for. The range in price is crazy. Prep is everything. If the place you got a price from is a total unrig, paint, and re-rig. Try getting a price for just prep and paint. It will be alot cheeper if you take everything off the boat yourself and then have them do the smoothing and paint.
