The wife saw 2 boats last night on the way home from vacation that she likes and told me this morning if I could trade the Starliner in on one of them then go for it. I'm not excited about getting rid of the Starliner, but when she agrees to a 30' performance boat I have to take her up on it, even if it's not a Checkmate http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

I'll have to find another Checkmate later, but most of our boating so far has been in rough water and the Starliner's rough ride is starting to deter her from boating as much as I'd like to so need a bigger boat with deeper hull and room to haul 7-8 people in the back (no bow rider) so this 30' boat fits "her needs" and I need to take advantage of the wifes good mood and checkbook http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

So, if anyone wants to buy my 1986 Checkmate Starliner let me know:

1987 Johnson 175 (modified to aprox 200HP) motor
SMP trailer
2 props - 22 Raker & 25 Renegade
12.5' CMC Hydraulic Jack Plate (10 hyd and 2.5' spacer)
58.8mph with the Raker on GPS
54.3mph with the Renegade on GPS

Ready to go in the water and have fun$7500.00

I can't trade it since it's a private seller selling these 2 boats so listing it here for a quick sale. If it doesn't sell quickly I'll pass on this bigger boat and keep pushing her on the 2 boats for different water conditions again.

Anyone interested?

Ah...ok, but why would you go for this one and not the outboard one earlier? The outboard version was in better shape. How much would this be worth to you if you were closer and wanted it? Looks like it's been sitting outside uncovered so might be rot heaven, what do you think?

Whats the difference between a normal 251 Convincor and the GTX version?

I would love to work out a trade, but I think I may still be a little short since I decided to buy a new tow vehicle yesterday because no one seemed interested in my boat. Lets chat, maybe we can work someting out. Email me your phone number so i can call you to discuss.

That has to be one HOT boat when the sun is shinning...OUCH!
