Factory replacing interior of my Senator , any ideas of where to relocate my receiver to . Right now , it's in the base of the rear seat . See picture @ Picture this/Redboats '89 Senator.
99% of the time , I only have it on when parked and the bucket seats reversed . I like to listen to the sounds of going fast while moving . Putting it in the dash would make it hard to adjust , (disc, track, volume, tone). Haven't had any water problems with it in the base of the back seat .

Hey Redboat...
I've got a Clarion waterproof deck mounted in the passanger side dash. I really like it. And one of the options they have is a wired remote control which allows you to control it from the drivers side dash. http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Thanks Chris, got the stereo , just looking for a place to put it . There is a lot of bracing behind the dash , cross bracing and a 4"x4"x1/4" block of wood glassed to the back side of the dash , not to mention a somewhat curved dash .

They make a glass enclosuer that mounts on the gunnel or the side under the shifter. It,s water proof and accesable for the driver. I'll post a pic when I install it on my ambassador. http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
