Who's going to win it?

I'm pulling for Dale JR.

I don't know if he'll win it...but that's who I'm cheering for.

Hey Z, you're a fireman? I didn't know that. Cool job! Do you work 4 straight days in Canada like the US firefighters do? Or do you work a strange schedule?

I have a messed up schedule. It's pretty messed up and very hard to explain. Once a month I have a 24 Hour sunday... The only good thing about working nights is the fact I get to wash my truck... I just got promoted to lieutenant... My home station is the water rescue place so I get to drive the boat all the time, which is a Zodiac with a 50 Merc... Still pretty fun...

Not too often. I am usually very busy but I get a few minutes to check my e-mails. I sometimes post from work. From now on. I'll tell you when I post from work. I should also post my little pocket schedule so you can all see how messed it is. The only good/bad thing is, I get 4-5 weeks off during the year but that bad thing is, they decide when this is...

Its not exactly on the water. We do both land and water calls, but in the summer most are water calls, so we are usually out on the water and between calls fooling around on the water... Right now, I am like a nomad, travelling from station to station... Its pretty boring in the winter...

Thats why I have started to drive my wife's van more. I have had my truck since December 2001, and I have put over 30 000 KM on it. My gas mileage goes between 12-20 miles to the gallon. I get the worst when travelling back and fourth to local stores and stuff. I long run to a far station is good for it, but not every day and night. So far, no problems except the way home in the morning, getting it dirty after I clean it!!!! ARGH......

I've had mine into the dealer for the driveshaft thingy that needs replacing when the driveshaft 'clunks', but that's the only warranty change so far...My cruise control is bugging me, it intermittantly quits when I hit 'resume'

Usually 1-2 pumps, 1 aerial, plus 3-4 smaller regular modified trucks, Silverados, Astros, etc... We also have the 2 boats in there and sometimes different floats and trailers for various occasions...

JW, I bet you still have that clunk don't you, to fix that problem, the differential lube needs to be changed, GM has a service bulletin on those that has been going on for years. My last truck did it, my mothers Yukon did it and after many trips to the dealer, the dumb asses finally turned on the computer and founf the service bulletin and put in a different type of fluid, and problem gone. We went to different dealers, mine was done second, and you think they would have listened tome, but know, I had to take the damn thing back three times to before they turned on their computers to see the bulletin also. My truck now never made the noise. They fixed the problem at the factory startin sometime during the 2001 run.

Now, who will win at the Rock. I am a Jr. fan, but this is not a good track for him
