if you look at the TACO stuff, they should have a match for your molding. Installing the molding can be ignorant depending on the molding you have. We used to use a big drum full of hot water to make it more pliable. MAde the job a lot easier.

Sorry, TACO is The Aftermarket COmpany. There products were sold by Land and Sea, not sure if they still are though.

Cant you get a new rub strip right from checkmate?
Chris E. is right on the install, put it in some really hot water and it goes lots easier.

thanks but im still not sure where to get one. is there a land and sea website?
if it is easier to go through checkmate, i'de rather do that.

I replaced my rubber rub rail this past summer. I got it from Checkmate. He said they had plenty in stock. It went in easy. I let it warm up in the sun for a while so it was good and soft. I cleaned the track with a wire brush and a pick tool removing any old crud. I Used dish washing liquid to lube the track and worked my way around by slipping the top in first and helping the bottom in with a big dull flat blade screw driver. Finished the job by tapping all the way around the face with a rubber hammer so it will expand. You need a partner for this job. Holding some tension on the rubber really helped make it slip in the track. Call Checkmate at1-419-562-3881
