are there swim platforms i can put on my outboard eluder? Also, Im thinking about putting a removable upholstered pad across the back spanning across the back deck and well. does that sound practical?

Im sure you can find the swimsteps anyplace, they are pretty much universal. I wouldnt cover the splashwell with a pad, it might look a bit silly...just my 2ct.

You will find them in the Picture This section listed under "Pics from Germany" Hubert has made one sweet looking Starflite. It is yellow with a monster 225 VTEC Honda on the back of it. Checki it out !!!

They make some nice OEM looking add-on swim platforms with or without boarding ladders. They have stainless steel tubing and either a teak or starboard (plastic white or black) platform. Check them out at either www.overtons.com (http://www.overtons.com) or www.westmarine.com (http://www.westmarine.com)
I have put them on several boats over the years. They are easy to install correctly and look good too!
