Is the Mercury Lightning ET prop considered a cleaver prop?
It's more considered a Chopper style prop, with cleaver influence. In other words, it leans more towards bow-rise than transom-rise. From what I've been told, it doesn't have quite the bow lift the Chopper II has, but is much faster, even on our Checkmates. I can't wait to try one............

I am running one on my 185 pulse and It is very fast and It does not have the Bow rise of a chopper 2 but I am running 11 inches of set back and 280 hp with a 25 inch prop at 7600 rpm . I still could use more set back because I still need more trim than I would like to get top speed which is 88 gps with the shaft even with the bottom.
