I have a '99 Convincor 251 with the HP 500. It came stock with the Dual Ram Insta Trim System. I am ready to put the boat in the water today. Unfortunately, I pushed my rocker switches for the tabs to test them, and I have nothing. They don't move and the pump isn't making any noise. There is fluid. The tabs are in the full up position. Does anyone know what to do?? From what I know, Tabs are a pretty basic system. If anyone has any ideas on how I should approach diagnosing the problem. I am all ears. Never had a problem like this before. Please Help!!! I am going out today regardless of tabs!

No noise at the pump may mean no juice...Maybe the fuse?

As was said it may be a fuse. Check all your fuses in the fuse panel. Next check to make sure that the plug didn't come loose on the trim pump.
If that are all good, start by checking for power at the switches. Pull the switches out, there will be a tie bar that goes across both switches. Attached to that bar will be a heavy wire. That is the main power wire for the tabs. Check for 12 volts there. If that is good, operate the switches while checking for 12 volts on the smaller wires that go to the pump. If you have it there, while operating the switches, check for power at the pump. If you have power at the pump, then most likely the pump went bad.
