Kip Your boat is just what I an looking for!How about a trade for a Starflight done in the same color scheme + cash?I know, what would you do with a starflight.Well I hope I can sell it soon and you still have it but I have a feeling it wont be around to long. What kind of speeds do you get with the convincor?Well,if you can move my starflight you have a buyer for the Convincor.Good luck with the sale! Kurt.....not really looking to take a trade on this but i wouldn't rule it out. The boat shows high 60's on the speedo have never GPS'ed it. It is a little slower than a regular 251 because of the deluxe cabin ..that extra weight in the cabin makes a big differnce but it has a brand new looking fully functioning kitchen. Pretty neat for a 25'er. Get that thing sold....you can also e-mail me to talk further about a trade or what ever if you don't want it plastered all over the site.

Sorry the deal didnt work out.Wifey wanted a pontoon of all things so thats what we got,a big 24 ft slow moving barge powered by a 40 Mariner. But it does give me a chnce to get this Starflight back to its original shape.I need to get the interior done and the deck needs some sanding and buffing so the next owner will have a very nice Starflight!I am planning on keeping it for another season or so then moving up to a bigger mate when the tooner gets paid off.Maybe that new outboard model for me? http://checkmate-boats.com/6/ws/,s,8626072361/Graemlins/surf.gif http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks pulse 185,I agree. Its a love it or hate it thing. It sure gets attention and I can be sure I wont run into another like it on Lake Michigan. It has a real nice contrast to it,especially when nicely polished! http://checkmate-boats.com/6/ws/,s,8626072361/Graemlins/thumb.gif

I checked out your weather. Looks like Sunday will be a great day to put on a coat and go air out that baby. Todays weather looks good for travel and googeling over that thing in the sunshine. To bad it's predicted to rain Saturday and make you wait a day....

Glad to hear you got back home OK, it must of been great to see the factory and drove back out with the new mate. I suspect that you'll be in for a "toss" and "turn" kind of night. Just wait till you see it in the daylight on "your" driveway.

Take Care and Enjoy

Hi Kurt, we're worse than kid's sometimes, I was in your position just over a year go, however, with a much smaller boat. I was just thrilled with my 17 footer, I can just imagine how you feel !!

With respect to your wife, once she has a ride in it you'll be all set. Who am I to talk, my wife and daughter have barely even looked at mine ,let alone sat in it. I don't even want to think about the abuse I would take if we didn't have 2 kids. My 11 yearold son and I have had lots of fun with ours this summer.

Enjoy Yourself

The kids help out trememdously! They love boating as much as me and kinda get Mom going sometimes. She spends all morning doing her hair up,then I mash the throttle and wind it up and watch the hair go POOF!I told her to wear a ball cap,it takes less time. She should like this boat better,it gives her a place to HIDE from the 65 mph wind.Hope to get the boat on the water today if weather is decent enough.Take care and talk to ya soon!
