Here's a link to a 'guest' article on the Hydrostream web site. This was my first I/O boat, a very handsome Persuader 183. I had to sell this boat because it drew too much water to get it close to shore at my lake house. I replaced this boat with the Pulsare.........

Talk about coincidence, I was just thinking of my Persuader and posted this thread, and then last night I spot a Persuader on my lake! I ran out and met the boat owners. They are new boaters to my area and have a 1994 Persuader 183 with the 5.0 V8........Can't believe I forgot to mention the site! I was too excited. I'm sure I'll see them again soon.............

Sad to say the end of the boating season is fast approaching. I realy feel for you northern guys. Down here in Maryland we are expecting the first frost to the west tomorrow night. The days are getting shorter. In a month it will be dark at 5:00.. That realy sucks... http://checkmate-boats.com/groupee/forums/ws/,s,8626072361/Graemlins/yell.gif http://checkmate-boats.com/6/ws/,s,8626072361/Graemlins/jpshakehead.gif http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

I THINK ALL YOU CHECKMATE FANATICS SHOULD MOVE TO JUPITER, FL WHERE IT STAYS WARM ALL YEAR LONG. THAN WE CAN HAVE SOME REAL GET TOGETHERS!!! http://checkmate-boats.com/6/ws/,s,8626072361/Graemlins/bounce.gif (AS LONG AS THE HURRICANES DON'T WIPE US OUT!! http://checkmate-boats.com/6/ws/,s,8626072361/Graemlins/jpshakehead.gif)

Jupiter,FL sounds good. Now to talk the wife into it
Actualy the west coast would be better, the company I work for has it's regional office and report center in Tampa. My chances of getting a transfer there is a possibility

Well it is getting cool up here in the great white North almost time to put the Pulsare into hibernation and time for my other favorite sport SNOWMOBILING. The water gets hard up here in the winter. This baby runs 128mph on GPS 1000 cc 185 ponies.

Nice sled!My concrete crew guys are a bunch of sledheads. They are worse than boaters when it comes to brand loyalty. Its the Cat vs.Ski Doo thing, and one lone polaris. It feels like it could snow here anytime! http://checkmate-boats.com/6/ws/,s,8626072361/Graemlins/sick.gif

I guess you could goose it and use it for a rota-tiller too or a sod stripper, great for making new garden spots...LOL..
