Update: The boat and trailer will be moved from North Carolina to to the Checkmate factory (Bucyrus, Ohio) sometime in early April. (Boat is now in Bucyrus jw) I'm going to have a few small updates done to the boat- new vinyl rub rail insert, paint and speckle the bilge, have the boat professionally buffed, and have the surge brakes repaired at C-Hawk Trailers (also in Bucyrus). If anyone is interested in looking at the boat it will be in Ohio. Just contact me and i can make arrangements for you to look at the boat.

Boat and trailer for sale, NO MOTOR. Boat is rigged for merc, hydraulic steering, hydraulic jack, tandem trailer. Newer interior straight from Checkmate. Owner is a perfectionist. Also, If anyone is interested in the boat and trailer, I am able to get extremely good prices on new Mercury O/Bs.

The boat is now at the Checkmate factory and has been completely gone over. The bilge has been grinded, re-gelled and speckled (looks nice and clean). New rub rail trim (it now has a black insert) and interior trim(around the cockpit). And the rigging was cleaned up. The only thing left is to have the deck buffed.

The MTI trailer has 4 brand new trailer tires. A brand new surge brake sysatem and master cylnder. The wheel bearings have been gone over and greased. A new winch and strap. And the lights gone over. The paint is a little rough, but shows OK for a 7 yr old trailer. I rate it a 6.5/10.

This is a sharp Pulsare for less then half the cost of a new one.

Ok guys, this boat has to go! It will make a great boat for somebody.

I'm dropping the price to $9650.00 (firm). You are not going to find a better boat/ deal on a Cmate Pulsare.

What a great deal, unfortunitly, I too am looking for a bowrider version...(20 foot or bigger) it seams the trend is going more towards open spaces for family fun as well as performance. I noticed a lot of boat builders are now building open bow versions..even in offshores! Checkmate is lacking in this department...They need more models with open bows! Checkmate has bow rider models for all of their boats, except for the 303, 330, and the 280ZT. You might want to check out the Convincor 270 BR version. It is a bow rider with a mid-cabin design and the well proven 253 (270) bottom.
