I'd like the Avalanche a lot more if they painted the cladding like they do on the Caddy version. Or just got rid of it.

I'd still take one though!

Nice "Tow Pig" JW. http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Nice truck JW. Good taste. I'd show you my ride but I just hit a pole and rolled it into a ditch, TOTALED it. I got pics of it in the yard but its done towing. Have to get some pics of the new tow rig........When I get it. What motor did you get in it.5.3L I am guessing. Anyways nice.

JW

YO Brian! Hope you are OK? What was your tow pig? Yes, I got the 5.3 with the upgraded pistons. Nice motor, lots of power for the gas mileage it returns. I used to be a Ford and Toyota truck guy, but since 2000 the GM trucks have been my favorite.

Bigger motor, well 488 cubic inches, 310hp 450 ftlb of torque. They don't have one right now, so I guess I'll have to stick with this.
Senator, with a gooseneck it's rated for 13,500lb. It has the towing package on it, has the reese hitch under the rear bumper, 7500lb or 10,500lb is you have the load distributing set up. I guess it will be over kill on the 1500 lb trimate http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif, But pulling the car trailer with the 4700lb plynouth fury on it, it will be welcome.

Gus, you wouldn't have paid $41,000 anyway! My '04 Avalanche has a window sticker of $41,565 but since it's an American vehicle with lots of profit, I got it for $11,000 off! But I'll bet you stole that used vehicle like you stole the 300M..........

Really no secret. I just asked her. Are we going on vacation? Yep, Are we bringing the boat? Yep. Are we going to tour the lake's around here? Yep, we going to bring the boat? Yep. Will my ramcharger tow the car trailer with the 4700LB fury on it, yep, but it doesent like it. So with all the above why are we going to keep the 300M. No good answer given. So Bye Bye 300m, hello Dodge ram.

I don't have any pictures, but I depend on my Chevy 2500HD to pull my 253 Convincor. I had a regular Chevy 1500, but the transmission wouldn't hold up to pulling the load. The Chevy 6.0 Liter will pull at any speed I want to run. Also good for pulling my 9,000lb camper.

Before we bought the Checkmate, we had a jetski. We also have a Honda Goldwing with a sidecar. We used to pull the jetski with the bike. We could stop all traffic on the boat ramp when I backed the bike down the ramp to launch the jetski. (Yes the Goldwing has reverse)
