this 1985 eluder has a 190 horse 3.7 LX
is there any thing that can be done to hop up
this motor who made this engine

Its probably a General Motors engine.

found out this is ford design
suposed to be half a 460 merc built
built to replace the chevy inline 6
470 488 170 to 190 horsepower
mine is 1985 190 horse
suposed to have 1.88 to 1 alpha drive
the drive was locked up so i put a 1.5 to 1 with a 19 pitch alpha stainless
we took it out last weekend got 53 mph at 4200
not bad for 1200 bucks hu

oh the block is aluminum with an iron head
fresh water cooled with a quadrajet 4 barrel
