1982 Enticer For Sale W/ Original 115 hp Merc

Hi all! I'm new to the forum, but a long time admirer of Checkmate! I'm reluctantly selling my 1982 Enticer bow rider that I've enjoyed for some time now. My family has outgrown it, and I'll soon be looking for a bigger Checkmate.

The boat, overall, is in good condition. It measures 16' x 7'. The Blue on Blue finish is original and the hull, transom and deck is solid with no major defects, just some scratches. The upholstery is original and in good condition, but should be replaced. The plywood bottom for the rear bench seat cushion needs replacing too. The original 115hp Merc 2 stroke is strong and well maintained. The original trailer has new tires and is in good condition, but could use a fresh coat of paint. All the original gauges work including an added Hummingbird Fish Finder and compass.

I would love to sell it to someone who appreciates Checkmates rather than someone that is just looking for a boat.

The boat is seaworthy and ready to run as is. However, a cosmetic makeover could make this the sharpest boat in the water!

Just washed and waxed the boat over the weekend. I also replaced the plywood bottoms of the bench seats. The boat is in fantastic shape and is ready to go!

Thank's for the note! I've had great response from the forum and much interest in the boat! Checkmate is a highly regarded mark. HQ's support for the Classic Checkmates certainly says a lot about their dedication to having the best boat in the water, old or new!

The boat has been sold. The buyer plans to restore it better than new.
