less weight to go with a 1500 merc. (only 297lb)
When I get ahold of a Predictor, one of the motors I'm considering for the transom is a 225 EFI 3.0! Who cares if you have to slow down carefully, as long as it's FAST!! http://checkmate-boats.com/6/ws/,s,8626072361/Graemlins/surf.gif

SLOW DOWN, LET THE BOAT SETTLE IN THE WATER, AND THAN GIVE IT A BURST OF THROTTLE TO MOVE THE BOAT FORWARD AND AWAY FROM THE WAKE THAT IS TRYING TO SWAMP YOU!! http://checkmate-boats.com/6/ws/,s,8626072361/Graemlins/thumb.gif
