I just got a new digital camera. I went out for a run the other day with and attempted to take a short video. It was a bit difficult since I was out by myself. So, holding the camera and steering wheel keft the throttle by itself. I slowed to about 60 mph which was a comfortable speed not requiring any pulling back of the throttle with the current ocean conditions. For those of you who are familiar , this is running East out of Jones Inlet along West End 1 and 2.
I am not a computer guru, I hope this link works.

Great job of driving and filming. Looks like you had your hands full...must have been choppy or you were getting some serious porpoising? http://checkmate-boats.com/graemlins/surf.gif
Like the sound of your motor! http://checkmate-boats.com/graemlins/bounce.gif

Sounded GREAT when the camera was behind the windshield!

No chop at all. This hull will not porpoise at 60 mph. There was a good sized widely seperated role causing the jumping. Once I got the speed set right, the prop would stay in the water. The next time I will have someone with me, so I can run faster and get some throttling and jumps over the crests of the waves.

Don't quit your daytime job! I think the Oscar for best documentary is still safe for another year.
