Steering system question ,1987 Enforcer

I'm doing some updating on my Enforcer.I want to install a newer style steering wheel but I see that mine is a 1" tapered square shaft compared to the 3/4" tapered that is on most. http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gifAnybody know who manufactered this system?
