I need to sell my mate. Wife and I just purchased a new home and are now expecting our first baby. This boat is extremely clean and very well maintained with low hours (100hrs at most) Garage kept and always washed and polished after every ride. In the last two years we've used the boat twice. The boat is red w/ a 200 Mercury outboard. Hyd. jackplate 21p four blade stainless steal prop. Clairion CD player with new speakers in back seat, 10" subwoofer. Tandom axle matching color Eagle trailer. Asking $19,000. I will send some pictures to the web master or you can e-mail me (schroederspice@aol.com) with questions and I'll send the pictures to you. My wife says I don't have to sell but I would rather have someone enjoy the boat instead of it sitting in the garage getting no use.

Thanks,
Bob

Welcome to the board!
Is it an open bow or a long deck?
Are you going to replace it?
Is the motor the same year as the boat?
Good luck with your sale, it would be awfully hard to convince me to sell a 2100, they are the ultimate O/B boat. http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

It's the long deck version. I'd like to replace it down the road with maybe a 25ft checkmate. I grew up on the Portage chain of lakes in Dexter Michigan and the 2100 pulsar was the perfect boat for those lakes. I'd like to venture out on the big lakes one of these days. The motor is a 1998 Mercury. My dad had the open bow 185 pulse w/ 175 mercury and ever sine we have been a checkmate family. Nice talking with you..

schroedie, That pulsare is plenty of boat for the big lakes. I've been on them for years with a starflite.

Hey Merc245, A buddy of mine here at work said it would be good to take out on the big lakes. I'm just afraid the waves would be to much for the boat. I take such good care of the boat, it would just kill me if something happened to it. I see you are from Brownstown. Have you ever been out on the chain of lakes in Dexter? If not and you would like to come out sometime my parents have a home on the chain and you could launch from their private dock.

When I head inland its usally to halfmoon/bruin lake. The family camps at bruin and I catch up for the day or overnite.I run thru Dexter all the time, one of my favorite towns. Not that familiar with the portage chain. Is that the lake on dexter-pinkney rd. where the lady of the lakes real estate office is near.
Most of the trouble on the big water is other boat traffic making large irregalure wakes.Adjusting your speed to conditions. But most of the time you can run as hard as you dare.Nothing like a 7-8 mile run at neartop speed over a current blown chop.
The only proplem is my starflite is apart at this time.Starting tomorrow I got to July 14th to give her a near complete overhaul. Just in time for the CHECKMATE POKERRUN at Sandusky Bay.
Well to keep this going in the right direction good luck in selling your pulsare.Merc245
