I just purchased a 2004 Pulsare 1850 with a Merc Optimax 175. Bob (at Roberts) and I are making arrangements for the exchange as I type. I am excited and proud to become a part of the Checkmate family. Thanks to the wealth of info on this board I was able to make an educated choice on this boat. More to follow upon delivery.

I am in New Orleans. When you say Mn do you mean Minnesota? Does the ice actually melt up there? I would love to attend something like that. Do you know if anything happens south of the Mason Dixon line?

Welcome to the website and to the Pulsare 1850 group!! (I have one too)...You will absolutely love the boat, it's fast but also is heavy enough that it is great for cornering and on choppy, rough waters.....congrats on the purchase and post some pics of it soon....

The summers are beautiful up here, and the lakes are CLEAN freshwater.
There is a get together comming up in july in Ohio, just watch the message boards and you can get info on one closer to home.

Congrats on the purchase! And Happy Birthday! My birthday was Monday and I put a deposit down on 2100 Pulsare BR on Monday. My boat will be coming from Fargo Checkmate.

I am in Dallas and a little closer than MN and those crazy guys up north. Hell our winters are like their summers! Maybe we should create a South/Central gathering for Checkmate owners!

Jgreen, I noticed you have a Pulse 185 w/ 175hp. What kind of performance can I expect to get with my setup?
