I have a 1989, 17 foot Checkmate and i'm having a problem with the fuel flow. I have replaced all of the lines and the filter and have proved flow past the point. I Think it's narrowed down to the line in the tank. Is there a check valve? Other than that i can only assume there is some blockage in the line inside the tank. I need some kind of diagram showing the fuel line tap on the tank. Does it just screw out? Any info will help

It just screws out and there is a plastic tube wich goes to the bottom.Put some teflon on the threads when you screw it back on.You may have a bunch of water in tou're tank, and if you have a water separator / fuel filter the stoppage is there.Good idea to add a water separator if you currently dont have one.I would pull out you're fuel cell ad flush it out to be safe if it was me.Good luck!

Have you tried a portable tank to be sure? Anyway, your tank may have what is called an anti-syphon valve. This is usually a ball bearing and spring in the fuel pickup of the tank. Often it is in the barb fitting. These are notorious for grief. Most people just hammer the ball and spring out. Also, check your tank vent.
