How do you figure the 2100 Pulsare would run with the extra weight of a 275 Verado on the back? I thought Chris had mentioned at one point that the heavier Johnson outboards used to run fast on the Pulsare.

Bob at Roberts Marine told me he has a customer that ordered one. I don't think it will be in till spring though.

I know for sure that my 375 pound 2.5 liter 225 Promax light weight outboard was too light for optimum conditions on the back of my Pulsare. The standard 3.0 fishing 225 motors at 465 pounds are just as fast, while turning 800 rpms less. I think a 275 Verado would be pretty sweet back there on 10" of setback.
