the knukels come to cumberland a few times each year including the poker run week-end. we have about 20 checkmates who are on the lake most week-ends.come on down

we were on the lake this week-end.it is almost at summer pool,the water is fairly clear with minor trash. hopefully conditions will only get better. we are out most every week,so we can keep everyone updated. keep spreading the word and let`s get this thing set.

at or around jamestown/state dock would be best.they have food and lodging available.as for a date,i am going to call kunkel's this weekend to see how many people he has and what date.i will let everyone know asap.anytime anybody is headed to l/c,let me know when and where. we are on the lake most every weekend and are always glad to meet up with people.

wait a minute guy's.... this year the regatta is at lake erie 98CONVINCOR and CHECK N OUT have put a ton of money and time into trying to make this work... maybe next year we could put together something organized for lake cumberland....but right now we are supporting one event and that's the regatta at lake erie.

Okay. I have been made aware that there is some controversy regarding the Lake Cumberland get together. Here is the story: we just wanted to get other Checkmate owners together. We are not in any way trying to interfere with what is planned for Lake Erie. We are planning on attending this event ourselves. The dates that were mentioned by us are in May or June so as to not interfere with the Lake Erie event. As for the Kunkel's, I told Harold what I had in mind and he liked the idea. I then asked him to spread the word to other Checkmate owner's as the organizers of the Lake Erie event did. The Kunkel's are great people and really support our hobby. I apologize for any misunderstanding or confusion this may have caused. I still want a bunch of us to get together at LC though, just for fun. It is NOT a Poker Run, Regatta, etc., this is just a chance for Checkmate owners to get together and show off our boats and meet other Checkmate boaters too. Thanks for your patience. Looks like my brother and I could be there in his new to him 28. Cumberland is our home lake so we will more than likely be down there anyways. I will stay tuned!

We will probably be at the Sandusky event also.

i would try ryans campground. it is just a little before the turn off to Grider hill. clean place and nice boat ramp and back in a quite cove.

found a place just up on 127 close to the state park entrance so will be using the damm ramp a lot taking the camper and boat down in may so will be looking for you and your friends that were with you and you have a nice looking boat

knight moves the lake didnt look too bad what i saw of it and i drilled a whole by accident into my intercooler and cant seem to get pro charger to send me one was suppose to be here a week ago and they havent shipped as of yet

took the boat out yesterday and today on a little lake up this way and im having a charging problem right now but will have it fixed by next weekend and heading down to cumberland on friday nite and be boating there on saturday hope to see you then

hey knight moves passe you on cumberland parkway on saturday morning around 9 had been at the wal mart in somerset then went out on the lake and ended up being a nice day there
I think Im heading back down next friday evening and put the boat in on saturday
