ok...finally talked the wife into trading the mini van in on a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer AWD.
It is a V-6 but has the 3.73 rear eand and a stated tow rating of 5500 lbs so i should be ok towing the mate at about 3000 lbs. Now come on Spring!

That should work out good for you, hopefully your spring will come a lot sooner than ours, we are going to be at about -30 tomorrow night. http://checkmate-boats.com/6/ws/,s,8626072361/Graemlins/sick.gif

We are having a mid-winter thaw, temps around 40 ABOVE, we'll be back at our seasonal temps (teens) by the weekend, but for now I'm ready to break out the shorts http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif.

I had a Chevy extended cab PU that I had painted to match my 98 Convincor. Really looked great going down the highway. We had a lot of compliments about our combo, but the truck finally got too many miles to feel safe traveling with so I traded it off. The dealer tried to cut my trade-in price saying he would have to repaint the truck before he could sell it.....He sold the truck in less than a week.
