Rick, Chris told you might be able to help me out with this. I'm buying JW's Pulsare and bringing it into Canada. Can you give me any advice and what to do for US and Canadian Customs???

Thanks,
Mark

Keep dreaming... http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif You can't outrun those cops and people towing a boat... Now if you had something like a H2 maybe. Anyways, however you do it, drive safe and good luck... When you getting it?

The problem is fellas, when you try to get insurance you need to have the registration for the boat. In order to transfer the ownership you would have to go through a broker to obtain the proper paperwork. I think?

http://www.checkmate-boats.com/6/ws/,s,8626072361/Graemlins/thumb.gif It's not to bad of a process... you must have complete paperwork, purchase price, and trailer title, purchase price, etc. You'll be required to pay goods/duty tax at the border, plus a broker fee. Now that your across, the only thing left is the Provincial tax.... Check out this link..

We sold a boat to a person in Windsor last year, if your interested, I can e-mail you his name and # if you wanted to talk to him about his experience. All he needed was our paperwork. Hope this helps! Rick
