http://checkmate-boats.com/graemlins/Eyecrazy.gif I was wondering if someone could post a picture of a pad, I understand what it does but I am having trouble visualizing this. I have a flat spot on the stern of my Starliner but that is for built in set back I gather. The flat spot is like a notch cut out of the keel. So is a pad the same thing except not cut out? Picture would help. I am assuming this is not something that can be added to the boat without great difficaulty and cost.

The old trimate was a standard "V" hull with no pad. Well at least thats what it used to be. I can't leave things alone. 6.5' long 9" wide and bullet proof. It will give me a good speed increase or, I will have a 35 mph boat and look cool.

Here is a picture of SCT's boat. Look at the bottom in the center of the hull. Not the flat section. That is the factory pad.

http://www.checkmate-boats.com/graemlins/thumb.gif Thank you, I thought that was what it was going to look like, it's very clear now! So it is possible to do but I'm sure expensive or time consumming if DIY. I think I will try to get this boat set up as good as I can without extreme make over. And then buy a nice new hull one day in the future! Pics are much appreciated Thanks Again!!
