Working. I get a bonus to stay out over the holiday. If they have nothing for me to do I get paid and average of what I made over the last 6 weeks. I plan on being home June 9th to the 16th. So if anyone is in Bucyrus get ahold of me and we'll go bug them out at Checkmate.

Also the June 11th and 12th I'm gonna have about 800 of my car buddies over for my birthday. Gonna baricade the main street and go lapping.
Nothing newer than 1976.

We're not going away to the cottage. http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

It's been waaay to busy at work, so we haven't had the chance to get a few days off to get up there and open it up. Hopefully it won't be too much longer. I want to go for a ride in the Mate. http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Guys what ever you do be carefull this weekend. So far I've seen 6 rolled suv's 4 wrecked semi-truck one of those burned beyond recognition. One honda accord under the rear of a semi truck and two motorcycle riders being loaded into ambulances. Remember no one is watching out for you but you. If they cant see my big rig they are not gonna see what your driving.

sorry i missed you was at a pig roast, launch situation is not good. private ramps are under water so is the one at the camp site . that leaves the new one in broadalbin , the one you used and the one in northville by the bridge . otherwise ours at edinburgh marina would probably be the easiest for you ($10.00) but it looks to be unusable for a few more weeks.

well the week end was great. it was 75 and sunny satrday and sunday. i was on the water for 11 hours sat. i did have some setbacks though. let me count them off to you. in the order of wich they came to me.

1) the fuel pump kit i installed to fix the spittn & sputtern didnt do anything.

2)i found out one of my hydralic lifts for my trim leak oil. my trim ran out of oil as a result. so i filled it.

3)my trim stopped working again. so i opened the back seat and found the trim motor on its side. i took the strap from my battry to hold the motor up in place. all is going fine for a while.

4)the weather turns and the water gets a lil choppy. my boatshuts off and wont turn back over in the middle of the lake. i here a hissing sound from behind the seat. i pull the seat out and find the battry on its side spitting its insides all over the boat. with no strap on it. http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif

this was all on saterday. atleast i got to run till almost dark. other than these four setbacks i had a great time. i pulled the battry out of my truck and put it in the boat. its a yeallow top optima. its sealed so i might just leave it in there.
