I'm looking for a boat or parts to finish my MX-14.
Here's a copy of the ad in the local papers...
2 Full susp. Buggy’s
One is a 4209 bought about 5 months ago and the other buggy is a 2002 Kasea .
Both have been modified. The 4209 was fitted with a 150cc w/ reverse tranny, 22” atv tires all around, front & rear hydraulic brakes, tapered spindles w/ roller bearings up front, rack & pinion steering and off road lights. It has a dual A-arm susp. Electric start, 12 volt system and bucket racing seats. In like new shape and runs beautiful but it could use a paint job due to all the custom welding. This thing has 12" of ground clearance and will climb over anything with 4 off-road lights. The Kasea has coil over shocks up front with a rear swing-arm. I began to mount a 250 cc 5spd. automatic Quadracer engine with electric start & reverse on the rear swing. Has front and rear disk brakes. The frame has been widened and made longer to accommodate a 6’5” adult. The Kasea needs to be finished but everything is there to finish it. Also have a spare engine for the 4209. Giving them both away for $2500. Can help deliver and e-mail pics if desired. Email at smeglinm@yahoo.com <mailto:smeglinm@yahoo.com> or call 508-476-7884, cell 508-341-4750

well...he got back to me, said he needs the cash. So I offered to sweeten the deal with some cash & both the buggies...said he needs the 3800.00. ???? Maybe he's looking to "trade" 3800 for the boat http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

well, I'd like to get another one to use while I slowly restore my MX13. Then I can leave one up Maine om the lake and keep one here in Ma. I'd like to buy OK's boat (or trade). My ad will be listed iin tuesdays paper, it was listed last week but the phone # was printed wrong! I'll drive anywhere on the east coast to buy (or trade) it...

Good luck on that deal he's only posted a few times, I'll keep an eye out for something also.
FireFish,
Just getting back to the site and wanted to see if anything came through, guess the guy changed his mind regarding a trade. Sorry it didn't pan out as well as thought it might.
Thanks anyway for the offer re: steak dinner
PS: I'm trying to sell a Glastron GT-150 (posted here on the site) PLEASE keep me in mind if you know of anyone looking to buy such. Good luck and thanks again.

Hi AMOR, he was pretty vague and almost rude...just said he needed the cash, no trades. The buggies and LCD TV will be in tomorrows ads. I've posted on all the online seller forums. Now it's just a waiting game. How much are you selling your GT-150 for?
FireFish,
Damn shame he had to be rude as well as change his mind regarding the trade. He even had it listed in the "trade" section of the web-site, but guess you know that. RE: GT-150 I'm asking $3800. but could go as low as $3500. I've posted a "for sale" topic here on the site but not really get any interest (non-glastron for sale). Its a nice boat I'm just ready to move up. Speak with ya again.

he probably is just trying to get some of his money back, these old boats need everything fixed on them when you take on a project like that and I know I have at least 5K in mine and I'm willing to part with it for 2500, a lot of people aren't. I always wanted to paint my engine cover to match the boat like he did, looks nice, maybe the next onwer will. shane
