What is everybody using to clean their s.s. exhaust tips? I've got a set of Hardin slash cut tips on my Strobe, and they get water spotted and cruddy every time I run the boat. It's a pain to keep them clean, and regular chrome polish doesn't seem to be much good. Suggestions?

I know what you mean. You gotta use a buffer and the right compound to get them to shine. I cleaned mine up just by buffing them with the same finish restoring compound that I polished the boat with.If they're really bad you'll need to get a bar of the "white" metal polishing compound.Get a small cloth buffing wheel and mount it to a high speed drill.Run/rub the wheel on the bar to get the compound into the cloth. Buff small sections at a time and you'll see a big difference. http://www.checkmate-boats.com/6/ws/,s,8626072361/Graemlins/thumb.gif

Flitz Metal polish works great then coat them with a good 100% carnuba wax. Just my 2 cents
