Just when I get the old 80 Predictor PURRING like a kitten the trim motor took a puke, Sounds like sometin grindin up in dare. I am going to take it apart this weekend. The hoses were leaking too. Can you get parts for the original trim motors? Where? Thanks Experts BWB

hold on, just put some oil in it. mine old one had a small leak. when it ran low it would sound like an old electric motor that was bad.

Hope I can get parts, I would like a little more lake time before the lake freezes and I need to tow the boat around on the lake with my pickup. Hey IllMattic, this noise aint GOOD...no oils gonna quiet this down. I got schrap metal in there. Chris thanks dude ser #s are 5601576 115 hp Merc on a 80 Predictor. I may need to go and buy one of them Optimax 2.4s to solve this problem. You explain it to my wife O Kay ?
