Checkmate God sent this Playmate over. He tells me that Gary Horsley originally created the plug and mold for this boat at home in his garage. Gary is the man behind many of the Checkmate designs and he is featured in the new 16' Pulsare feature we have in the news and views forum. Apparantly this boat pictured is also for sale.

I agree that bill combs is the driving force, but he was not driving on this boat.
This boat was built in garys garage, nobody told him how to build it or how to make it look, all the style and looks are 100% garys ideal, nobody even knew what it was going to look like, the plug was built, then the mold, then it was pulled, then it was takeing to checkmate, then bill combs seen it for the first time.So GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE.
I am the checkmate god I know everything about checkmate.

Hey... Where is that boat located? How much does he want? Please tell me what currency you use because I am not sure where you are... Pretty sweet looking boat.. http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif
Checkmates may not be the fassted boats on the water, but they are the nicest looking!
Thanks Checkmate God... I figured out that out to be 5,701.18 CAD. But where is it located. I honestly have never heard of the place? Great looking boat and it just what I have been looking for. http://www.checkmate-boats.com/6/ws/,s,8626072361/Graemlins/thumb.gif

Hey Z06, I'm going to look at the 'new' Playmate (an F-13) soon. May buy it. 2001 Paradise F-13 that's never been sold. Transom hasn't even been drilled yet. On a trailer, all it needs is a motor and controls.

http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gifYour a lucky dog JW!, thats what you are! You are looking at 2 boats at once! Sucks for me there are no dealers near me except Baja. I WANT THAT F-13! What motor would you put on it? Where is it located? Damn I hate you now! LOL http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif

OK Z06, you can have the '95 Pulsare/Promax/Trailer/Tempest/Cover/etc. for $16k or the brand new '01 F-13/trailer for $3k. Take your pick! http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

If I would have to pick one or the other, I will still have to with the Pulsare as I have always loved the boat and I can find a F-13 anytime I came new! 16K? Thats a good price for your boat. Desperate? http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif
