Just got my Trimate back from the upholstery shop http://checkmate-boats.com/graemlins/beer1.gif there are before and after pics in my photo album at the link below. I hardly recognized her with the new carpet and seats.

Let me know what you think

Derek,I remember seeing this boat here a while back. That old interior was so busted. I can't imagine how it got like that.
It looks AMAZING now with the white seats with red trim. what a diffrence! http://www.checkmate-boats.com/graemlins/thumb.gif nice and clean.
Now it is actualy worthy of being called an "interior"
Just goes to show that sombodys trash can be another's treasure.
you should post a reply in the "old gems" forum and tell us a bit about her. goodluck man.

The previous owner didn't have a canopy on his boat-lift and 5 years of sun is what caused the "before" pictures.

That looked like an original interior, maybe almost 30 years of damage.

Boat looks great now. I want one of those.

I need interior for my skimate! debating weather to just order something or have done what you did! If you dont mind how much did something like that cost? I am afraid to find out just knowing what a decent pair of front seats cost

i need 2 new front seats, they were all rotted and 1 broken. i'm in the process of fixing my floor! I have new black carpet for it and new gauges and a new steering wheel and it's going down to my buddys shop to get re sprayed! so i figure if i need new seats I might aswell replace it all so it all matches and lookes as good as the rest of the boat! So I would need 2 front seats, side pannels and the back bench

They wont be the cheapest, but you'll get nice original style set of seats. You'll probably have to contact them directly to see what they still have available and what they can make.

If you want something custom, then I'd just find a local custom shop. :)

The guy that did mine is in Lincoln NE, not too horribly far for you, easily within 8hrs. then again it is a short drive for me as I drive truck OTR and have done a lincoln to chicago, back home run in a day. If you'd like his contact info, let me know. Pics would help for an estimate from him

DerekThat's doable, but a bit of a stretch on paper ain't it?

not really, thats how I got my estimate done, the guy does alot of boats and he came out very close to his estimate. I just took him the boat, he tore down, replaced all the wood that needed to be replaced, all new foam, heavy marine vinyl. As you can see from the pics of mine, he does a great job.

Looks Good!

Did you have to do any work on the floor?

I am looking to get my TriMate done this winter but I know the floor needs work.
