Hey Everyone,
I'm looking for a good place to get my MX-15 painted and possibly to do my interior, I looked at the pictures for my boat in the other section and it looks exactly like mine except someone had redone the interior before bought it and I would like it to look like it did originally.. In short I live in London Ontario, and My cottage is up by the French River and I would love to find a good place to do this work with somewhat reasonable prices any information or experiencies anyone has had possibly with a private person or business ...please let me know and include as much information as to cost for painting/interior work as you can.
Thanks in Advance

Cads,
It will probably be hard for anyone to give you a price without seeing the boat. I'm not sure if you're aware, but Checkmate also does restoration work. You're not too far from them considering you're in London, you could always give Kip a buzz and see if you can work something out.
Your boat could be rebuilt to be just like it was when it was new, by the people who originally built it to begin with. http://www.checkmate-boats.com/6/ws/,s,8626072361/Graemlins/thumb.gif
The interior work can easily be done. Mate can make new skins that you can put on yourself, or you can have them make all new ones if need be.

Did you say we can get OEM seat skins for older boats? Do you have any idea what they would charge? I would much rather buy originals than to have someone try to duplicate them.

F150GT

You sure can F150.
Here is what you do. Get the VIN number of your boat. Give Mike Combs a call at Checkmate. With the VIN number he can probably tell you what the original color scheme was. And then you can proceed from there.
Mate can make up skins and send them to you. Or you can send your stuff to them and they will do them for you.
Heck, you can make arrangements to take your boat to them for a complete restoration if you want.
