I see snap-in carpet as an option on the 2100 Pulsare BR. I am curious as to how this is designed - Does it have a fiberglass cockpit liner? Anybody got any pics of this - I am curious about how the gunwales are lined?
Any input would be awesome!
Thanks
Stacy

I can't speak for the Pulsare's design, but my ZT260 has snapin carpet. It just uses standard snaps like a cockpit cover to hold it in place. I like it, and its easy to clean up or replace. You can also leave the carpet out if you fishing, ect.

Thanks for the feedback. What is the decking like without the carpet? How about the gunwales in the side of the boat - are they still carpeted?
Do you have pics? My last boat had snap in carpeting but it also had a fiberglass cockpit liner - it was a dream to clean up and the carpet didn't smell after a couple of years....

I sent Chris a picture to post. It’s not specifically a shot of the carpet, but you get the idea. The Gunwales are still glued carpet, but they don't get much abuse on my boat. The decking under the carpet is a white splatter paint finish made of gel I guess, like a fishing boat.
When you get the snap-in, the Pulsare has an extra liner if I remember right. Makes it heavier. Not sure you really need it.
