Anyone here wakeboard with their checkmate? I was wondering what size wake they can put out or any other information you can provide. I am looking at a 1989 Sportfire if that helps. Thanks

I wakeboard and it works good. I use my ski pole. I think I could get better air with a taller wakeboard pole. Although I'm getting to the age that it hurts more when I wipe out. http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

oo how nice it is to be young...
i dont have to worry the aches and pains just yet.
right now i wakeboard with a 20ft aquasport with the rope not even above the outboard so i think the skipole will definetly help me out.

http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gifMy daughter (15) wakeboards behind my 253 Convincor with only the eyebolt on the back of the boat. I drop the trim tabs a bit and keep the outdrive trimmed all the way down. She loves the ride behind our Mate, but wishes we had a taller pole so she could get some air, but I just haven't installed one yet.
