I like that speaker alcove by the rear bench - great design to allow for an accessible cup-holder and to allow the rear passengers to actually hear the stereo.

I too like the alcove with the speaker and cup holder - very nice and practical.

I also noticed that there are no rails along the side or front. Is this standard or were they deleted?

Still like the ass-end of the 2100 better than this one - this looks dated IMHO.

We brought the speaker/cup holder deal from the 2400......bowrails will be optional....and we are going to change the mold to the 2100 type splash well. It's a good lookin boat though eh! http://www.checkmate-boats.com/graemlins/thumb.gif

Kip

Absolutely it is a beautiful boat and if you change to the 2100 splashwell, I think you will have a true classic like the 2100. http://checkmate-boats.com/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif Speaking of which, will the 2100 be going away?

Also what are the chances of adding that speaker/cupholder combo to my 2100 BR that you guys are building?

GREAT LOOKING BOAT KIP, I THINK I WILL INCORPORATE THE SPEAKER IDEA TO MY PULSARE; I LIKE THE IDEA OF CUTTING THROUGH THE COMBING PANAL ALOT BETTER THAN CUTTING SPEAKERS INTO FIBERGLASS SOMEWHERE. I ALSO THINK THE SPLASHWELL OF THE 2100 LOOKS BETTER.

VERY good looking! And we'll be VERY glad for the 2100 style transom! Thanks for listening to the owners Kip, that's great. The cup holder/rear speaker mount is a big thumbs up, and so is the elbow crash pad for the bow seating! Very good idea bringing the cushion up and out onto the forward deck.
After talking to a new dealer of yours, the 2000 is on my short list for my next boat!

I'm with you guys this boat is HOT!

I really like the cup holder speaker detail too. I noticed that right away when I was preparing the pics.

Great work Kip and crew. That boat ROCKS! http://checkmate-boats.com/graemlins/devil.gif

quck question, will the speakers above the cup make it rattle like crazy?? I guess no more than waves would.

Either way I like the idea, it's neat and tidy, good-looking, and practical.

Nice to see the speaker/cupholder in the Pulsare 200B/R. I have the first production Pulsare 2000 long deck in production now....assume Kip we are putting this in my boat also. Question: Will the Splash well on the long deck have this view or the 2100 design?

Looks great Kip! Will you be changing the whole aft deck to look like the 2100 or just the transom lip?

Hey, the cupholder speaker combo is great. One thing to note, my pulsare 1850 transom lip is just like the one shown here, but from past experience one has to use caution when putting the motor in a trailer tow position or you could damage the glass by interference with the motor when in tow or fully tilted position. If it was not for the jack plate and the high vertical position of the motor, I would have a very difficult time getting the engine in a favorable position to tow. So by using the 2100 transom design, would this not make this condition worse. The only way I could see it working well is with 10" of offset or better. OldSchool

In my experience with both Pulse and Pulsare models, they're about the same when it comes to tilt clearance. 10" of setback definitely helps though http://www.checkmate-boats.com/graemlins/thumb.gif

WOW!! I love that boat!!
Now, If I move my wife and the boys into the 18wheeler with me, I could get one!!!
I would like to be able to add the cupholder/speaker to the diplomat though.
Very cool Idea!

I love the boat,But I'm a hard deck man. It would sure look good behind a YELLOW RUMBLE BEE. I favor the 2100's transom though. And whats the horse power rating top out at.
