In memory of my best friend

Jason was tragically taken from us on thursday October 23rd 2003 in an automobile accident. He was a Checkmate owner, a dear friend and my blood. I know none of you knew him but I used to bring him in my office to show him pictures of all of your boats. They were one of his great loves. In fact he is the reason I bought a Checkmate. He leaves behind a wife and 6 year old son. 27 years of his smile will never be enough thanks for listening guys. Later.....

RedNose, that totally sucks.

You know, it's amazing how the internet has been able to bring so many of us who live seemingly, so far away from one another, together out of a similar interest.

From time to time, people send me screen shots of the board displayed on their computer and when I see it, it really hits home that this little place is a gathering place and home for many of us from all over the world. It's really amazing when you really think about it.

The fact that you and your cousen spent time together on the board looking at Checkmate pics. And that, that time is memorable for you, touches me in a big way. Thank you so much for sharing that. I can't begin to tell you how much that means to me.
