Windshield 1978 Trimate III

Give Mike a call at Checkmate. If anyone knows where you can get a NEW replacement, it will be him.

Not sure if the tri-mate 2 and 3 have the same windshield but if they are a I can get all the measurements and pictures you will need off mine. Shoot me a picture of your boat and where the windshield mounts so I can compare it to mine. checkedout@charter.net

GUS is the shield on yours made by Taylor? Mine says "Taylor Made" on it, as does most of the Mate shields that I've seen. But I'm not sure if they just made the glass only while someone else manufactured the frames.

The windshield was made by Taylor but they only keep plans for 8 years after the model year. I am missing the frame and glass. I am going to call Mike and ask whether the Trimate II and III have the same windshield. thanks for everyone's comments. This site is great!!!

My 1976 TriMate III closed bow has a sticker on the frame saying, "Taylor Made 489094. Do you need a windshield for a closed bow? If so, I can take some pictures of the windshield with a tape measure next to it.

Contact ships ahoy, I have a 1977 checkmate
and they found someone to make a windshield
for my boat. Good price and a nice job.

i have a 79 trimate 3 have good frames but need new glass if you find out anything give me a shout i'll try to get some pic's for you
