Well, my ovesized brother in law thought my passenger seat in my starflite was a lazy boy and we hit a few wakes and out the seat came. It pulled the screws out with the wood still on the screws. The factory used flat end screws. It looks like a ss wood screw would be a better grip. The floor is not soft or anything but it looks like I might have to grind the glass and see if I can support that section with wood. Any quick tips would help. No problems with doing the glass work but would love to avoid it if possiable....

HEY LOVE, CLEAN OUT THE HOLES AND SEAL THE EDGES WITH RESIN. YOU CAN BUY STAINLESS STEEL TOGGLE BOLTS FROM WEST MARINE AND DROP THEM IN THE HOLES WITH MARINE 5200 AND REMOUNT YOUR PEDESTAL. http://www.checkmate-boats.com/graemlins/thumb.gif

Thanks guys, I never thought about toggle bolts. You have both made my weekend as I will be able to fix it and get some boat time in. Thanks again! http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
