Dear fellow Senturions, you can find your shocks at spdhardware.com or your local NAPA store. The shocks you want or the ones that worked for me are spd-gs-5200-60. BTW I have my Senator out of storage and will take some pic's and post them.
Cheers!

I did some more checking and found I have 60# gas shocks on it now , I think I'll replace them with 90# gas shocks . Even when these were new , they didn't hold up the sun deck with any security , ( I had the top drop on me more than once ) . I found them in the West Marine catalog . 12" compressed , 20" extended -90# , $22.99 USD .

Redboat, my sundeck came down on me and crushed my thumb while I was turning the batterys off. I just got out and my hand was on the recessed part where the hatch goes into and WHAM! Man that hurts! That was last summer and my nail is still messed up! The right shocks are a must.

http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif I bought a pair of 90# shocks from West Marine , and moved the mounting location of one of them ( they were mounted at different angles ). Now the deck moves up with just a slight pull and stays up .

I've been shopping for a replacement set for my Ambassador as well as a bunch of other parts. West Marine was a bit high in price. Check Boater's World. Their prices were 40% lower than West on zincs and $3-$4 a bottle less on cleaners, wax, etc.

Save the $$$ for gas!
