I have a 2100 Pulsare left over from 2004. It looks identical to the one on the top of this page. It has a Merc. 225 EFI and custom C-Hawk trailer. I need to sell it because it has been here a year. Best offer over $27,000.

Guys I really need to move this one. I've been paying interrest on it way too long. The 3.0 L 225 EFI is bullet proof and makes the Pulsare really run. They will no longer be available when Merc. is out of stock this summer.

hoxsey,
My new Pulsare 2100 is coming from Bob at Robert's and he has been great to do business with, good on follow up, and a nice guy! Their number is 715-749-4133 Fast Rog

P.S. My boat is still at Robert's until the snow melts some more and roads dry up. Good Luck!

You should also try Dave at Fargo Checkmate, I know he has a couple 05 2100 pulsare's and he is getting the 1st 2000 pulsare
Dave will beat any body's prices and will deliver it right to your door, he also has a used 2100 pulsare.
Check out his website at www.checkmateboatsfargo.com (http://www.checkmateboatsfargo.com)
or give him a call at 1-800-451-8840.
Dave is a super nice guy to deal with, you wont be disappointed !!

Thanks guys. I was supposed to buy tweeds pulsare. had a deal, sent him the down payment and was going to pick it up when the snow melted. Yesteray he sent back my check, backing out of the deal. Not too happy to say the least. I REALLY (as in not looking at anything else) want a hard deck. Fargo is only listing bow riders right now.

Talked to Bob already, this boat only has the 6" manual jackplate. Any opinions on 6" vs 10-12" offset, manual vs hydraulic jackplate? Any experience with how Checkmates red gelcoat holds up? How about red interiors? Do they get overly hot in the summer sun?

Thanks again -

Mike

Mike:
The 2100 runs better with 10 or 12 inch set back. Checkmate knows this but they still sell them with the 6" standard. This boat was originally ordered by a guy who wanted to keep the price below $30,000.00 so no options were ordered. He disappeared but I wanted one in stock for '04 so I had Checkmate put in the hyd steering and send it out. I will be happy to install a 10" hyd for you to seal the deal. I mused to own a Hydrostream with black seats. Colored seats can get hot, you just learn to throw down a beach towel.

Ok, I know this is http://checkmate-boats.com/graemlins/offtopic.gif however it's something I've been thinking about for quite a while now and since it's happened twice in this thread I thought it was as good of a place as any to make a couple of comments.

Is it just me, or is there others that feel that when someone is trying to sell their boat or accessory (in their own thread) that it's kinda rude to jump into that post and try to lure the prospective buyer away?

It's totally different if someone is asking where to buy a boat or if someone is looking around for a specific type of boat and where to find it. I just think when someone is asking the selling party about an item they are trying to sell, that is is sort of spamming when someone else interjects. Kinda like if I'm on John Doe's car lot talking to him about a new Buick and Joe Dee from his lot across the street comes over and starts telling me I should buy a car from him. Sorry, but as customer I would have trouble buying from a place that did that.

Well that's all I'm going to say and I won't beat this topic to death. It's just my .10 worth. (adjusted for the rising price of gas) http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

If I didn't have something else going on right now I'd jump up and buy that boat. You just ain't gonna find it much cheaper.

hoxsey, Buy that boat. It may be a 2004 but it's still a new boat. Retail on a new 2005 is around 20,000 just for the boat. And thats just a standard edition. Add another 14,000 or so for the motor. And another 2,000 for the trailer. The 2006 model year is fast aproaching. The price will go even higher.

So around 36,000 retail. Bob's is: best offer over 27,000.

That isn't gonna be around for long.

Took the plunge, bought this one. It's a beauty, I've always been partial to the red boats. Thanks for all the input. I think I'm getting a good deal and Bob has been great to deal with on the purchase. He added the hydo jackplate at no charge and is rigging the ski pole and a water pressure gauge at basically cost. If you're looking for a boat it's worth talking to him.

Should be getting the boat next week, he'll drop it off on his way to the factory for a 280 pickup. Can't wait, already have a lot of friends anxious for a ride but not as anxious as I am for a drive!

Hoxsey,
Congrats on the new Pulsare. Probobly one of the best combinations of performance, luxery, some versatility, and one of the the most stunning lines on the water. Mine is still at Robert's and should come home in the next couple of weeks. I met Bob from Robert's Marine a couple years ago when he came in on a Sunday to show me the first Pulsare I'd seen up close. Even though I didn't buy my first Pulsare from him I bought my first new one from him. He is honest and straightfoward and should do you well with the new purchase. Good luck and here's to 80+ m.p.h. boating!! FastRog
