I agree....yaaahhh
Thats why I bought Chris's boat. Want to run the river more. Did it a few times in our 28 ft Formula, But coming from fonddulac I'd burn about 100 gals. Can't justify doing that at $3.50 a gal.
Picked up a 03 150 XR6 for it, should be ready to float next weekend.
If any one sees chris's old boat cruising the river give me a yell.
always looking to meet some new boaters

What part of the state is Appelton in ?
There are a few Wisconsinites here on the board (Roberts Marine, Drex) that might be interested and a few south eastern Minnesotans (jkeiper, and a couple others I cant remember) I might be also depending on how far. I have some friends that live in New Richmond.

We may be able to attend depend on when it's going to be......We're in the process of getting our house ready for sale, but once everything is done we'll have more time........
We do most of our boating on the Wolf since most everything down here has speed limits on it...

I'd be interested in a get together. I'm a "newby" here but not to boating. I do most of my boating on the Fox River(north of Kaukauna) between Wrightstown and Green Bay. I'd be willing to trailer to a different location. Always looking for new places to boat !

Chris,
I just talked to the wife after I talked to you. I think I'm game. We tend to do a lot of last minute boating usually pending on the weather ! Right now it looks like most of the weekend should be nice. Are you planning on bringing the family ? I'm open to trailering down your way. I work second shift so I'm not a real early riser !:shakehead: I'd definitely like to pick your brain on some ideas and checkout your boat.
I'll keep you posted on things on this end.

I'd rather not bring the whole family until i get this thing dialed in better, maybe the wife or one of my boys if i get to much static, but she understands pretty well my obssesion to run,so its all good.
Saturday morning is not gonna work as i need to work around the house a while but lets talk somemore.

I'll see what I can workout too. I know the wife would not want to part take in the gear head jive or some hard runs. I'd like to get a few pointers.:thumb:

I'm burnt to a crisp. Last two days were french fry city. I can't handle this scorching weather. There's no where to hide from this sun with new boat. I may have to invest in an umbrella or convince passengers that I must go 70mph to keep cool.:eyecrazy: May have to try the watersports soon if this keeps up. I have to do the family/parents get together today. I may try to sneek a ride this evening when it cools down. My Dad is really curious as to how the boat handles/drives. He used to race hydroplanes. He's got the itch again. Have you been able to get out ? I will definitely hook up with you. I know next Saturday we have a Blizzard (arena) football game to go to but I believe Sunday is open. I don't think we have a whole lot planned this summer so I can probably start some planning now !!:bounce: I still have your cell number so I can keep you posted.

chris ,
Did you get out this weekend ? Any luck with set up ?
The football game is not until june 10th so this weekend would be open. If we have bad weather I might just stop by to check out your boat, pick your brain and purchase your spacers. Talk to you later.
