Hey as you guessed im new never onwed a boat but my dad is big into boats and i just bought his boat from him he only drove it once a year and set in heated storage. from all the pics off the site im saying its a 1987 Sportfire white with silver metal flake in some areas. Ill be doing paper work tomarow and will be doing paper work tomarow.

Ill proubley have a lot of questions but proubly what is your inshurance costing you?

Insurance is all over the place price wise.

Some of the price is determined by how fast your boat is.

Ya boat has stock 140hp motor the boat seems to move really well my dad did not like it because it would chime walk at higher speeds

So if you can run over 50 it's one rate, and if you're under it's another. Under 50 I can actually include with my home insurance. I personally use a company called Premier who do marine insurance. We have an advertiser Boat U.S. that does insurance. You can click on their banner that's appears on the bottom of the page every once in a while, or there's a link on the portal page.
