Started taking this boat apart this afternoon. Here are a few before and after shots, for anyone who ever thought about buying Fantasy's version of this boat.

Underneath the carpet when I pulled it out was a cigarette lighter.

Fuel leak under the bow mounted fuel tank. Which had no hose clamps on the filler hose.

Done for the day. We spent more time stripping of old striping tape than taking the boat apart.

Sorry I didn't have more pics as we took it apart, but by the time I thought of it, we had it apart.

Glad I'm not gonna put this one back together. :D
WOW Coop I didn't think you would have that torn apart yet. Dang you moved fast on it and it seems you'll be working on doing something with it?
I am shocked it took only a day for you. Now lets see what happens with the stuff on my end and get something going...

DAYS!! More like hours. We got more time in taking the striping tape off of it, than taking the boat apart. Got about 2-1/2 hours in the teardown.
The only thing I can say is that was Fast Fast Fast.
2 1/2 hours of work now thats cruisin................

Coop, is it leaking in the bad spot, does the crack go all the way through the hull. The boat looks to be in over all good shape other than that one bad place.

That crack does not go through the boat, its just where the floor has broken loose from the hull. When I get the hull flipped over, I will show some pics of how much air was in the stakes that run down the bottom.

We need to move this OFF Coop's thread...
I didn't buy it new but it came from Action Marine in Dearborn, Michigan.
You can always send me a PM (private mail) if you want to chat on it... Thanks,:thumb: Jim
