Hello all,
Yes I'm a newbie...and am looking for a new Checkmate. 1st question is do I go inboard or outboard? Looking at 21ft B/R 225 Merc or do I spend the extra coin and go I/O? What would be the longevity difference between the two and what extra maintenance costs between the two?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I was almost killed when A woman pulled out in front of me on my motorcycle I was doing about 55 and t boned her thank god she wasn't hurt but it threw me 200 ft. and I was life flighted to Grady hospital in Atlanta Ga. I broke almost everything and what didn't break was dislokated so for now i'm dock side and will be spending A lot of time on the puter! I just hate I'm not going to be able to put my jetmate in the water this year, but thers always next year!!! talk to you all soon...THE CAPT.

X1I'm not sure what models you're looking at, but there are pros and cons to either powerplant and boat. The choice will really depend on what your priorities are.
