The engine that was in there was a piece of junk. Not original, ran like crap, had blow-bye, leaked everything, etc... I got him a ZZ4 355 h.p. 350 cu.in. GM Performance parts crate engine. What a pleasure to do. I got the carb they recommended, added MSD wires, needed a flywheel, this car has a 4 speed Muncie trans. , engine comes with a flexplate from GM. Bolted on everything and started it up. Nice and easy. The engine sounds great at idle, runs smooth. While I havent beat it up yet, it seems to have plenty of power. I would highly recommend going this route if you are to repower a performance car.http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2004-11/889345/optfrontview.jpg

Yes, that is my C-Hawk trailer taken apart and hung on its side in the garage. It sucks living in New York where there isnt enough room for all the toys..

Nice! Now how about an Amc 360 or 390 for a 1970 Javelin.
