NOW THEN to make his Checkmate experience the best it can be:
Any of you ZT Owners past or present have a prefrence on the 4 blade props for the ZT hull?

I was running a 28" Bravo on my 240ZT Procharged 496. I had it balanced and shappened a little but I told them not to thin the blades. Very good control and top end. Also I was running a steering stabilizer that helped out best.

Have 97 280ZT running stock 502mpi mercruiser 24 pitch 4 blade-tried a few others & this works the best.

Found out his Dealer is shipping it with a 22P Bravo..
We'll see how it carries and go from there as it seems most with Checkmates are running the Bravo. Hell I'm as excited as he is to see this thing in person!

Sheeesh, age thing goin on.. :shakehead:

It has the 6.2 in it and his Dealer is Roberts Marine... From what I hear from folks who have bought from Bob, he's a stand up guy and will take care of him.. I can sit back and wait now without worry..
Looking forward to seeing/running this boat as I steered him the Checkmate route from day one and hope he's totally satisfied with the boat as it's his first real performance boat.
