Hey guys,
On June 20th I will be going in for surgery in Boston. I will be donating a Kindey to my uncle. Please pray that all goes well and that his body accepts the kidney. By the way he is a Checkmate owner. He is the original owner of a 1990 Sportfire I/O.
Thanks;)

I wish you all of the best. In dec. of 2004 I recieved a kidney from my sister in law at the University of Maryland. Trust me when I say that you will be making the biggest difference in his life. I can honestly see how the both of you feel. As soon as his surgery is over he will be a totally different person. I PRAISE YOU FOR WHAT YOU ARE DOING. Also about 2 weeks after surgery you will feel completely normal. P.S. isnt all of the testing fun lol- Dennie

You are the man Adam. My family has been through some tough times lately with cancer, so to be able to help someone in your family like this is a wonderful thing. I also know someone who recently received a kidney from her nephew, and her body has done well with it.
We will be keeping you all in our prayers. Keep us updated.

I too applaud your sacrifice. That is stuff true heroism is made of. I will definitely join in the chorus of praying Checkmate owners. Who would of thought we were such a spiritual bunch? I'm impressed all around.

Hey Guys,
Thanks for all the kind words and prayers. My uncle and I are doing well. So far the surgery has been a complete success. I spent four days in the hospital and then headed straight up to the lake in Maine to recover. The weather was aweful  , but I couldnt do a whole lot more than sit in a recliner and watch TV anyway. This past weekend was nice, so I was able to get outside and enjoy the weather. I even got to take the Predictor out for a nice SLOW ride. Each day I am feeling better and better. A few more weeks and I will be back to full strength a going FAST!!!
